Mills for Nano
so the two options i keep getting suggested are the monstermill 3pro and the crankandstein 3roller series. i also looked at the jimboney but those units get pretty expensive pretty fast, and the economill from canada was like a couple grand, so it looks like we'll be going with a glorified homebrew mill for our little nano.
im getting the idea that this may be like asking if folks prefer ford or chevy, but does anybody have a very strong opinion on one or the other?
we intend to use with an american aleworks motor at 180rpm, direct drive, so should have plenty of torque.
unfortunately premilled grain is not an option.

Brewer Duties - Independently brew batches and complete other brewing
operations, including but not limited to handling raw material, operating the
brew system, yeast harvesting and pitching, yeast propagation, cell counting,
cellar work, other aspects of brewing and cellar work, and lots of cleaning!
Carbonation and packaging. Working with QA department and cellar staff on
monitoring fermentation (gravity, pH, cell counts, etc.), and
conducting/participating in taste panels. Maintaining accurate and legible
records. Independently take on cleaning and maintaining the brew area.
Requirements - Knowledge Mastery of the brewing process. Creativity in
helping us produce new beers. Able to strictly follow recipes and our standard
operating procedures. Must have basic mechanical ability and computer skills.
Experience Minimum of 1 year all grain brewing experience is required.
Physical requirements - Our brewhouse is very labor intensive and requires a
lot of attention. The brewer must be able to bend over, twist, kneel, climb stairs,
stand for the duration of a shift, shovel hot grain, lift 55+ pounds repeatedly,
handle hot and cold liquids, and handle full kegs. Requires working in a
non-temperature controlled environment, proper handling of hazardous
materials, and operation of complex machinery.
Time requirements - We are a low volume operation at the moment and do not
brew on a set schedule. A typical day is 9 hours plus and to create good beer
there is no cutting corners.

Ohio dock sales question
Not sure if this is the right forum for this question.
all of my brewing experience has been in states where we had specific forms to fill out to sell a keg to a private citizen or group that didn't have a license to sell.
Question is, does Ohio have any sort of paper work they require for a dock sale?

Are there any other reports I need to fill out other then the TTB's quarterly/monthly BROP and excise taxes return? Is there an annual report of some sort I need to fill out?
I've been in the industry for a while, but never dealt with the government before--I just filled out the BROP for the feds/state and left the rest for the other folks in our organization. Thanks.

7 BBL Mash Tun For Sale $4900.00
Up for sale is a 7BBL mash Tun.
This Mash Tun was custom built for a local brewery that ended up getting loans and partners to purchase new/much larger equipment. This mash tun was built by a skilled welder and brewmaster. The false bottom is wedge wire and the manway is level with the false bottom to allow easier grain out. Also the tall legs allow for a 50 gallon drum clearance under the tank and manway for easier grain out. Also includes a 1.5 tri clamp temp port, sparge arm extension with a spray ball attached, and circular 5 port wort drain on the bottom of the mash tun. The mash tun meta is very thick and is mostly covered with 1.5 pressure treated wood for added insulation which is much like tradition German style brewhouse design. The legs have adjustable feet to level on any brewery floor.
The mash tun was designed and built as if I were going to use it. I have many years of brewing experience and know this mash tun will be loved where ever it ends up.
This mash tun will be ready to ship 7 days from date of down payment.

Making spruce soft drink
I'm looking to make a soft drink, non-alcoholic, using spruce. I found some references in old texts but I can't find how much spruce I should use per gallon. This will be the only flavoring in the soda drink and I'm using cane sugar. Does anyone have experience making this? My finished volume will be four barrels.
