The Wichita Falls Brewing Company is currently seeking additional investors to finalize our plans to launch our brewery in North, Texas.
Our founder and president, Matt Bitsche is also a founder and partner at Infamous Brewing, a brewery/distributor based in Austin, TX. He has been successful in building a profitable brewery from scratch and achieving statewide distribution. Matt, originally from Wichita Falls, has come home specifically to launch this venture. As the face of Infamous Brewing, Matts deep experience in brewing, sales, marketing, and distribution is unparalleled for the area.
Infamous started in Austin, Texas with a 7 Bbl system and was primarily focused on distribution. Their startup capital was $300,000. In the first full year of production, Infamous sold 675 barrels and made zero profit. By year 4 that number was 2000 barrels and by year 5 Infamous was worth $4.5M. Infamous currently distributes state-wide, is present in every major city in Texas, and recently purchased a second location in Austin to add another 5000 Bbls of capacity. Infamous would not have attained this success without great beer and Matts leadership.
The New York Times featured an article on Infamous in August of 2013, and Matt has taken awards in the Best Little Brewfest in Texas (1), The Can Cans (3), the Brewsky Awards (10), and 4 medals at the 2015 World Beer Championships held at the Beverage Testing Institute in Chicago. In addition, the company was featured on the documentary The Beer Diaries and multiple other online media events. Recently, Infamous did a collaboration beer with the Boston Beer Company (Sam Adams).
